Episode 10: A Clue from the Digi-Past

While Izzy is working on his laptop, Mimi throws a tantrum because he is ignoring her, and runs off into the labyrinth.

Later, when Mimi finds herself in danger, Izzy abandons his laptop to save her, something he had never done for anyone else.

Episode 15: The Dark Network of Etemon

Izzy and Tai walk in on Mimi bathing. Izzy stares for a long time.

Episode 43: Playing Games

Izzy and Mimi are eventually transported by Puppetmon to a tree together after being with everyone else.

Evidence from Digimon Adventure (manga)

In the manga of Digimon Adventure Mimi and Izzy are trapped in some ancient ruins and Mimi runs off crying about how Izzy likes his computer more than her.

Also in the manga, while asleep, Izzy dreams about Mimi: "Sure Mimi, I'll hold your hand."

Movie: Revenge of Diaboromon

When Mimi arrives in Japan, she goes to the meeting place that Izzy provides. She is irritated when Izzy doesn't greet her warmly upon her arrival, but soon gets over it and "assists" him in giving directions to the other DigiDestined.

After Diaboromon is defeated, Izzy and Mimi fall asleep together in the computer room.

CD Drama: Digimon Adventure 01 Mini Drama 2

Tentomon notices Koushiro is writing a love letter, but does not know for who, and somehow, the rest of the Chosen Children get involved. Mimi believes it is for her, and says that she suspected he liked her all along. Mimi gets very defensive when Hikari brings up that she does not believe the love letter is for her, to the point where she starts a battle.

Also, whenever it is mentioned that Mimi might be the recipient, Koushiro (who is tied up and gagged) interestingly starts to shout (muffled), while he kept quiet when the other girls were mentioned.

Speculation

• In the end, Mimi is often paired with many other male characters of the series and it is still a mystery of who she likes the best. However we can possibly conclude at some point Izzy had somewhat of a crush on Mimi.
