The gang races through Whamon's digestive system, and it can be seen that Tai's arms around Sora's neck and Sora's arms are around Tai's waist. After the gang is swallowed up by Whamon and are in the stomach, Sora is holding on to Tai's waist, then lets go when they stop in Whamon's stomach.
Episode 16: The Arrival of SkullGreymon
When Tai wants Greymon to evolve to the next level, knowing that if he is in danger, Greymon would reach the ultimate level, he runs in stubbornly and Sora tries to stop him.
Episode 19: The Prisoner of the Pyramid
When Sora is kidnapped by Datamon, she yells for Tai, not anyone else. (Original version)
Tai tries everything to rescue Sora, but when he fails, Tai cries after their escape from the pyramid due to his inability to save Sora.
Episode 29: Return to Highton View Terrance
Mammothmon attacks Birdramon who covers Sora and Tai. When it moves away, Tai protects Sora with his body.
Episode 35: Flower Power
Sora prepares herself for training and Biyomon asks her why she must go to the soccer field. She says in the original version: "I have soccer practice, and besides Taichi will be there and I need to talk to him about some things."

Episode 42: Digimon World Tour, Part III
When Sora and Yolei go to Siberia to help 3 Russian DigiDestined, the Russian DigiDestined can't understand English. So to direct them in battle, Yolei uses the only three Russian words she knows. Sora starts to get embarrassed and she states: "This is so embarrassing; there is no way I'm telling Tai." (English dub insert)

Movie: Our War Game
Before the events of this movie Tai sends her a hair clip as her birthday present. Somehow this leads to an argument leading Sora to think that Tai does not like her hat and this leads to an argument with neither side willing to apologize to each other. Tai resorts to sending an email with his apologies, but accidentally ends it with "Love, Tai". (In the Japanese version, Taichi spells his name wrong, and when Hikari barges in, Taichi's arm accidentally knocks against the "heart" key in his keyboard. It is established to be entirely an accident.) Kari "helps" him send it, making him panic.
In the original version Sora apologizes for her actions through an email to Tai and is seen smiling and wearing the clip in her hair in a picture she sent him.
Movie: Diaboromon Strikes Back
Later, as the eyes of the disembodied arms of WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon glow (they were knocked off Omnimon by a blast from Armageddemon), a shockwave is generated which frightens Sora; with Tai and Matt at either side of her, she shrieks and grabs Tai's arm.
